Job Description:
Director of Information Technology

The Director of Information Technology supports the strategic business plans, applications, and all related matters for information technology for departments and facilities. The Director is responsible for the management of multiple information and communications systems and projects and function, including voice, data, infrastructure, imaging, medical technology, diagnostic equipment, new technology implementations, and office automation.

• Flexible, able to prioritize and address multiple responsibilities concurrently

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES/DEGREES

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college in area of Information Technology and/or a professional certification requiring formal education beyond a two-year college
• Master's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred

EXPERIENCE

• At least eight years of experience in a related information technology environment
• At least six years of leadership/management experience
• Healthcare experience strongly preferred
• Understanding or experience in the upkeep and function of medical technology preferred
• Experience in managing interdepartmental technology
